Descripción

Several decades of clinical recommendations have yielded some solid treatment recommendations for ADHD...

Now the neurodiversity movement is challenging how much change we should ask of our ADHD client versus how much latitude and accommodation society should adopt.

This can be complicated enough for our clients—even more so for those of us needing to integrate all perspectives to help our clients figure out what to change and what to accept about themselves.

Watch two leading experts in the diagnosis and treatment of ADHD for an engaging deep dive into how best to serve your clients with ADHD. David Nowell, PhD and Ari Tuckman, PsyD bring 50 years of clinical practice to inform their presentations with what you need to know most!

In this training, we’ll give you NEW tools to:

  • Understand the neurological underpinnings of ADHD features
  • Conduct collaborative interview and treatment planning that is strengths-based and neurodivergent-friendly
  • Make use of a “top down/ bottom up” understanding of environment-brain-behavior supports and treatment
  • Collaborate with clients around powerful lifestyle changes to reduce cognitive inefficiency
  • Integrate a neurological, psychological, and social understanding of ADHD
  • Educate clients to see time and feel the future to explain common ADHD struggles
  • Sort through the noise about ADHD medication to make a nuanced decision
  • Improve clients’ productivity for greater self-esteem and peaceful relationships
  • Help families apply a coherent approach to parenting children from elementary school to launch
  • Address psychological fallout of ADHD on self-esteem, coping mechanisms, and relationships
  • Empower couples with one ADHD partner to create a balanced relationship that is still fun

If you’re looking for a clinical toolbox brimming with strategies to rethink your ADHD approach, we’ve got you covered. Purchase now!
